Exceptionally clean surfaces immediately stand out on this high-end 1887-O, with bright silver-white color and strong, satiny mint luster throughout. The strike is pleasing for this often softly struck New Orleans issue, with good definition through Liberty’s hair and the eagle. Only a few trivial marks are visible even under close inspection, supporting the lofty MS65+ grade. A superb and highly attractive example of this better O-mint Morgan dollar.
