Vibrant orange-gold luster and beautiful surfaces that are exceptionally clean. Just over 3 million minted but most were held at the mint and subsequently melted after FDR outlawed gold ownership in 1933.

Beautiful rich satiny luster with outstanding surfaces that are devoid of significant marks. The obverse strike is very sharp. The reverse is well struck and way above average with a full horn and split tail. Just a touch of weakness is present on the left side of the Buffalo’s head near the rim.

Satiny white luster and a great strike. The surfaces are especially nice with minimal marks and a lot of flash! A better date and truly scarce in high grade with full band definition.
