Wreath Below Ship. A copper token struck in England to commemorate the British occupation of Newport, RI during the American Revolution. This is a very desirable example with strong detail throughout and just lightly worn high points, consistent with the grade. The surfaces are exceptionally nice for this scarce issue with a pleasing brown patina.

Narrow Shield. Solid detail with well above average choice light brown surfaces.

STATES UNITED, 4 Cinq. A remarkably well-preserved example of the first coin authorized by the Congress of the United States. This beauty features a sharp and even strike to go along with wonderful choice surfaces that are a glossy chestnut-brown, with no significant marks, no planchet issues, and no corrosion or other blemishes.
