Remainder. Farmers Bank of Kentucky. Vignettes include portraits of Governor John Crittenden (1848-50) along with his wife; two farmers plow new ground. Red and black inks are bold on the front. The back displays a rich all red intricate design.

Solid detail and pleasing light silver-gray surfaces.

Sharply struck with full detail visible in Liberty’s gown and the eagle’s feathers. The surfaces are fully original with strong mint luster and a satiny sheen, exhibiting light abrasions typical for an MS-60 coin.

Solid detail with pleasing natural coin-gray surfaces. Scarce in any grade with just 80,000 minted. Particularly rare in high grade as none have graded mint state at either service.

A single ‘chopmark’ on each side. Scarcer than a Trade Dollar with those banker’s marks.

Corn Exchange Bank. Desoto. Vignettes include a central detailed scene titled ‘The Mill Door’, a vignette of Ceres at lower left , and female portrait lower right. The inks and paper still retain plenty of brightness.

Lustrous yellow-gold surfaces with fewer marks than one would expect for the grade. Just 7,036 minted and a pre-Civil War date that saw heavy circulation.
