CAC. A desirable Southern gold issue, this piece displays vibrant yellow-gold luster with nice satiny surfaces. The obverse features strong detail in Liberty’s hair and coronet, with only light chatter in the fields, typical for the issue. The reverse eagle is sharply defined, with clean wing feathers, shield lines, and a bold “O” mintmark.

Sharply struck with bright lustrous surfaces and outstanding eye appeal. A better date with just 21,335 minted.
