The ‘key’ to a 1941-47 Short Set, with none graded numerically finer at NGC or PCGS. This coin displays a very bold strike with strong skirt lines and head detail, plus thumb separation. The surfaces are spectacular with intense blast white luster and no significant abrasions.
CAC. Blast white and an excellent strike with nearly full skirt lines and head detail on the obverse, and full eagle feathers on the reverse. The surfaces are flashy and choice with minimal marks.
Satiny white luster and an above average strike for the date with very few minor marks.
