The second rarest Carson City half dollar with a mintage of 62,000. This is a beauty for the grade with problem-free surfaces that are a pleasing coin-gray.
CAC. An extraordinary gem that is sharply struck throughout with Liberty’s gown folds, shield, and the eagle’s feathers all crisply defined. Graded MS66 by PCGS and certified by CAC for exceptional quality, it exhibits vibrant frosty luster and silvery-white brilliance with incredible surfaces that are nearly pristine.
CAC. This scarce date is the only regular issue Trade Dollar with a mintage under 100,000. The present example displays a very sharp strike on both sides and bright lustrous original surfaces. Outstanding for the grade with just a few noticeable marks and strong eye appeal. Housed in an old green label holder.
Blast white and a great strike with clean surfaces and nice reflective fields. Just two PL coins have graded numerically finer at PCGS.
CAC. A beautiful first-year San Francisco Mint ‘Morgan’ offering bright, satiny luster and excellent overall eye appeal. Liberty’s portrait is sharply defined, with strong hair detail and crisp stars, while the reverse eagle displays bold feathering and clean fields. Minor, well-scattered marks are few and unobtrusive, fully consistent with the lofty MS66+ grade.
