A scarce date with the lowest mintage of any New Orleans Mint dollar at 300,000 coins. This is an attractive example with an above average strike and lustrous white surfaces. There are minor abrasions, consistent with the grade, but nothing heavy as is often the case for this challenging issue.

Well detailed with light wear on the high points of the design. The surfaces are a light silver-white color and retain a good amount of mint luster.
