S-266. Early die state without rim cuds. Appropriate detail for the grade with cleaner surfaces than normally seen at this grade level.
14 Star Reverse. An outstanding example of this rare and desirable coin from a low-mintage year. Just 2,827 minted and an estimated 150 to 200 known survivors. This near-mint state specimen displays strong eye appeal with vibrant golden luster and only the slightest signs of friction on the high points of the design.
C-5. Spiked Chin. R-4. The rarest of the 4 different Spiked Chin varieties. Well detailed and attractive with the dramatic spike coming off Liberty’s chin, plus the reverse has a heavy bisecting die crack with additional peripheral die cracks.
4 Berries. Well detailed with attractive natural gray surfaces.
Well detailed with problem-free, two-toned gray surfaces.
Solid detail with pleasing gray surfaces. Interesting heavy die crack from the rim, thru the 6, and into the bust.
Solid detail and even wear with pleasing original antique gray surfaces.
CAC. Large 6, Stems. Lovely original mint red luster blending with soft brown. The surfaces are particularly choice with no significant marks. Tied for the finest graded regardless of color designation with the only ‘Red’ MS-64 selling for $46k back in 2014.
Large 6, Stems. A beautiful early Half Cent with highly lustrous light brown and olive-green surfaces. A few marks and minor striking softness, but overall very nice for the grade!
