Overyssel. DAV-1829. AU Details Environmental Damage. Super detail and noted environmental damage is minimal.
Blundered Date “17336”. Breen-1148. R-6+. A pleasing chocolate brown and a late die state with a vertical crack nearly bisecting the obverse die.
Ryder 5-A. Attractive smooth surfaces that are devoid of marks or spots and are a deep brown color.
C-9. Attractive light brown surfaces with strong central head detail on the obverse as well as a bold LIBERTY and date. The reverse has a softer strike with equally choice surfaces.
No New York. Far rarer than the With New York variety. Although well worn, this is still a nice problem-free example with pleasing medium brown surfaces.
VG or better detail but the surfaces have been altered.
Evenly worn with strong definition for the grade, showing clear detail in Liberty’s hair and facial profile, and a bold date, stars and LIBERTY. The eagle, wreath and legend on the reverse are equally bold. The surfaces are a nice light gray and relatively problem-free with minimal marks.
Lettered Edge. Struck in Birmingham, England for NYC merchants. This is a very attractive sharply struck example with shimmering olive-brown surfaces displaying green, blue and reddish hues when tilted under a light.
