Well struck with crisp yellow-gold luster. Minor marks define the grade but none are heavy, which often is the case on New Orleans Mint ‘Tens’.
A very scarce date at this grade level and a date that is plagued with soft strikes and a lackluster appearance. This is an exceptionally pleasing example with bright lustrous surfaces that provide strong eye appeal. The strike is well above average for the date.
