Sharp detail with choice original toned surfaces and considerable underlying mint luster. It’s interesting to note that Liberty has a strong ‘double profile’.

Broken 3. The dies on this guide book variety were prepared with a broken ‘3’ punch resulting a poorly shaped ‘3’. This is a very attractive example with sharp detail and highly lustrous surfaces. The center is silver-white with delicate peripheral gold, lavender, and blue toning at the borders.

Newcomb-1. A pleasing mid-grade example of this ‘key’ date. The surfaces are an attractive medium brown with just minor contact marks consistent with the grade.

Sharp detail and lustrous with light golden-gray surfaces that display just a touch of high-point rub.

Super eye appeal with vibrant mint luster and attractive toning. The strike is very sharp and a tiny touch of ‘rub’ is all that separates this beauty from a mid mint state grade!

Sharply struck with original silver-gray luster and very choice problem-free surfaces.

Overton-118a. Sharp detail and strong luster with a light golden-gray patina on the obverse and a mostly white reverse. Very nearly mint state.

Lustrous creamy white surfaces with rich gold-blue accent along the peripheries. Outstanding for the grade with excellent eye appeal.

JR-13. Well detailed and attractive with nice gunmetal gray surfaces.
