CAC. A beautiful brilliant proof with watery white fields that contrast with frosted white design features. The surfaces are gorgeous and devoid of significant marks or lines, making the assigned grade appear conservative!

CAC. A beautiful example with reflective mirrors and frosted devices. Faint gold dusting flows across the surface and touches of deep blue-gold toning clings to the periphery. Great eye appeal!

CAC. Bright lustrous surfaces with a faint champagne hue. The strike is fairly strong with just a touch of central softness and the surfaces are nearly mark-free and exceptionally attractive.

A scarce early San Francisco issue that saw a mintage of just 5,000 with only 30 to 45 survivors in all grades. This example exhibits ample detail for the grade with pleasing original surfaces that are a warm honey-orange color with remnants of luster at the stars and in the protected areas of the design. […]

A scarce date that saw a mintage of 140,000 but, like most San Francisco coinage of the era, a very low survival rate. This is a very attractive example with choice medium gray surfaces and solid detail.

A rare date with most surviving examples only grading VG or Fine. This is a sharply detailed example with predominantly light silver-gray surfaces. Far cleaner than typical with some toning spots but no scratches or other disturbances which is often the case with this date. PCGS estimates 275 known in all grades, raw and certified.

A fully bordered example  with even wear that saw a print run of 58,860. Vignettes include a Native American family in the center, Thetis, who had many roles in Greek mythology including water goddess at left, and a female with an X in one hand and an ear of corn in the other hand.

A pleasing note with virtually full margins, original paper, and strong color that includes unoxidized orange ink.
