This beauty offers frosty devices with deep, reflective fields, displaying pleasing contrast and a nice original patina. The core in brilliant with a thin ring of iridescent turquoise and russet toning at the rim. A scarce proof with a mintage of just 600.

Sharply struck with crisp details in the feathers and wreath, and smooth, problem-free surfaces consistent with the high grade. This Gem better date retains considerable mint red intermixed with rich gold and greenish-brown tones on the obverse, and ruby and brown tones on the reverse.
