High R-7. Regular issue half eagle dies. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Sharply struck with beautiful reflective reddish-brown surfaces that have iridescent green-blue and ruby tints. One of the rarest dates in the series with a mintage of just 1,300. This is a very nice example for the grade with virtually full mint luster, few marks, and wonderful yellow-gold surfaces.
