A lovely example of this scarce early quarter eagle with a solid strike and bright, lustrous orange-gold surfaces. Devoid of adjustment marks with strong eye appeal! Just 6,812 minted with an estimated 250 to 350 survivors.
Very nice for the grade with strong eye appeal. The surfaces are a lustrous light chestnut brown and are extremely choice with just a touch of ‘rub’. Housed in an old green label holder.
