Vibrant luster over superb original surfaces that display only the most trivial of marks. The strike is strong with very nearly full horizontal bell lines.

Star Note. Rich inks blend with bright white paper. The borders are wide and very well balanced. A great star note!

A superb example of this condition and strike rarity with razor-sharp Full Steps detail on Monticello, placing it among the very few Full Step coins of the issue. Brilliant luster flows across both sides, with clean, satiny surfaces and excellent eye appeal. Just two MS-66+ coins have graded finer at PCGS with the FS designation.

This is a date that almost always comes horribly struck yet this coin miraculously has sharp full steps! The dies show the usual fatigue but the steps are crystal clear. Only 9 coins with a FS designation have graded finer at PCGS.
