A scarce date that, when found in mint state, tends to be very attractive with a sharp strike, well defined mintmark and rich luster. This is a lovely ’08-S with choice original surfaces and all the fine attributes that this date usually has.

Well struck throughout with 4 full diamonds. The surfaces are choice and mostly mint red, blending with soft brown.

This piece offers vibrant reddish-brown luster with subtle toning and excellent eye appeal. Well struck with sharp feather details, this coin retains much of its original mint color, especially in the protected areas of the design.
