Vibrant orange-gold luster and beautiful surfaces that are exceptionally clean. Just over 3 million minted but most were held at the mint and subsequently melted after FDR outlawed gold ownership in 1933.

Vibrant luster and mostly mellow red with a touch of brown toning. The strike is sharp and the surfaces are exceptionally nice. Only 4 ‘RB’ coins graded at this level. None have graded finer, regardless of color designation!
