R-7. From regular issue dies, but struck in copper with a reeded edge. Superb quality with deeply mirrored fields displaying vivid copper-red color and subtle violet undertones, highlighting its pristine preservation and rich patina. This is the single finest graded at either service regardless of color designation.

Sharply struck with brilliant white lustrous surfaces and just a touch of high-point rub. Only 30,700 minted with few survivors as most were exported to the Orient for trade and subsequently melted.

CAC. Rich reddish-brown luster with generous flashes of original mint red, especially around the devices and protected fields. Sharply struck with bold shield details and crisp legends. A high-quality example of the much scarcer Small Motto variant from the first year of the series.
