CAC. A strange variety because the mintmark isn’t just too large, it’s also poorly shaped. This wasn’t a half dollar or dollar ‘O’ accidently used on a quarter die. The present coin is well detailed for the grade with well-worn but still very attractive coin-gray surfaces.

Beautiful yellow-gold luster flows across sharply struck and satiny surfaces. Marks are minor and of no consequence. A fantastic Type 2 near ‘Gem’ example with excellent eye appeal!

Upright 55. Very attractive with beautiful original blazing red surfaces. This coin is well struck with no significant marks and just very minor spots. Outstanding for the grade with strong eye appeal!
