With Motto. First year Seated Quarter with IN GOD WE TRUST on the reverse. Just 16,800 minted. This is a fresh original example with frost on the design and bright flashy fields. There’s slight central striking weakness, but overall this a very handsome example of this scarce date.
One of the finest example of this first year Shield Nickel graded by PCGS. The strike is needle-sharp and a rich luster patina with a faint gold tint coats nearly flawless surfaces. A dramatic die crack is seen in the lower reverse. Excellent eye appeal!
