Sharp detail with choice original toned surfaces and considerable underlying mint luster. It’s interesting to note that Liberty has a strong ‘double profile’.
Broken 3. The dies on this guide book variety were prepared with a broken ‘3’ punch resulting a poorly shaped ‘3’. This is a very attractive example with sharp detail and highly lustrous surfaces. The center is silver-white with delicate peripheral gold, lavender, and blue toning at the borders.
C-2. Very close to mint state with lustrous light olive-brown surfaces.

CAC. Square Base 2. O-118a. A choice original piece displaying lustrous surfaces with a light silver-gray patina. The obverse displays strong definition in Liberty’s curls, cap, and drapery folds. The reverse features the classic Heraldic eagle with bold shield lines and nicely defined wing feathers.
