A scarce Doubled Die Reverse issue showing clear hub doubling on E PLURIBUS UNUM and the eagle’s wing and feather details. Light, even wear with strong remaining luster and a pleasing silver-gray and golden patina.
A nice original example of this scarce Redbook listed variety. The surfaces display rich mostly white luster with a trace of toning, and the strike is sharp with full skirt lines and strong head and left hand detail.
