A scarce early San Francisco issue that saw a mintage of just 5,000 with only 30 to 45 survivors in all grades. This example exhibits ample detail for the grade with pleasing original surfaces that are a warm honey-orange color. This is the only VF-25 graded by PCGS.

A fully bordered example with even wear that saw a print run of 58,860. Vignettes include a Native American family in the center, Thetis, who had many roles in Greek mythology including water goddess at left, and a female with an X in one hand and an ear of corn in the other hand.

An attractive note with pleasing black ink and orange protectors. The paper displays light to moderate even wear.

Vignettes include a scene of a slave picking cotton, cotton transported by boat, and a resting dog. Inks remain strong and paper still retains a pleasing appearance.

A scarce issue with a printing of only 43,732. This example displays full outer frame lines, wonderful green and black color, and plenty of remaining brightness. Vignettes include Liberty standing at left and a central design of Commerce, Ceres, and Navigation.
