Star Note. Mule. John Burke Back Plate #337. A well centered star note and mule that still retains generous brightness, strong color, and a little crispness.

Fresh original blazing red luster and a sharp strike.

A lovely brilliant white Gem with excellent eye appeal. The strike is needle-sharp with full head detail, bold shield rivets, and sharp feathers on the reverse.

Well struck and nearly full red.

Extremely well struck with slightly mellowed mint red surfaces that are devoid of significant marks and spots. Tied for the finest RB graded by PCGS.

Well-struck displaying strong detail on Liberty’s figure, with crisp definition through the gown folds, thumb separation, and full head detail . Attractive original luster remains beneath soft silver-gold toning, while the reverse shows excellent feather detail and balanced eye appeal. A choice Mint State example of this scarcer obverse-mintmark Walking Liberty half.
