Sharp detail with lustrous silver-gray surfaces. Just 100,000 minted and, like all the early ‘S’ mints, they saw heavy circulation.

High R-7. The obverse die is from the Seated Liberty design used for regular-issue coinage in 1863. The reverse features the standard perched eagle motif with the addition of a scroll with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST inscribed. Struck in silver with a reeded edge.

PF-12. Periods Before Both Plate Letters. Vivid inks and bright premium paper. A tight right margin with full design and 3 super wide margins.

State of Florida. Vignettes include Commerce seated, a sailing vessel, and a slave carrying a basket of cotton. Nice full margins. The original paper shows uncommented toning, yet still has plenty of eye appeal.
