A choice mint state example from the first year of the series. The obverse displays a bold strike with a sharp portrait and fully defined surrounding stars. The perched eagle on the reverse has fully defined feathers and there is strong luster across both sides.
Just 22,000 minted which is the lowest mintage in the series after 1907. This coin is attractive and nearly mint state with just a touch of ‘rub’ on the high points of the design.

This piece offers vibrant reddish-brown luster with subtle toning and excellent eye appeal. Well struck with sharp feather details, the surfaces retains much of the original mint color, especially in the protected areas of the design.
