Narrow Shield. Even chocolate-brown surfaces with solid eye appeal for the grade. Well-centered with clear legends, a distinct horse’s head and plow on the obverse, and a boldly defined narrow shield reverse. Honest circulation wear with pleasing, problem-free surfaces throughout.
Sharply struck with fully defined details on both sides. This piece displays exceptional preservation, rich original brown surfaces with vibrant mint luster and no noteworthy contact marks. A beautiful coin and one of the finest survivors of this issue!
Ryder 5-A. Attractive smooth surfaces that are devoid of marks or spots and are a deep brown color.
Very sharp detail for the grade with a detailed portrait and wreath and bold date and legend. The surfaces are a beautiful medium brown and marks are minor and don’t distract from this coins very strong eye appeal. A rare coin from the first year of regular U.S. Mint production!
