Well struck with light wear on the high points of the design.
A pleasing mid-grade example of this scarce date with strong, even silver-gray surfaces and solid detail for the grade. Liberty’s gown folds, shield lines, and star points remain clearly defined, while the reverse eagle shows crisp feathers and a bold mintmark.
Lustrous with a light silvery patina accented by a touch of toning primarily at the borders. The obverse shows strong definition across the intricate six-pointed star on the obverse and throughout the reverse. This is a very attractive example of the only three-cent piece struck at the New Orleans Mint.
CAC. A beautiful near-Gem with a rich yellow-gold luster patina over nearly mark-free original surfaces. The strike is very sharp and the eye appeal is outstanding!
Well struck and lustrous with just a touch of high-point rub.
CAC. A lustrous borderline uncirculated coin with choice original surfaces.
A pleasing Mint State example with rich, original gold color and strong luster. Liberty’s portrait is sharply defined, with crisp stars and clean fields, while the reverse eagle shows bold detail. The “plus” designation underscores the coin’s superior eye appeal and quality within the grade.
