Small 9. Strong detail and outstanding for the grade, with pleasing light silver-gray surfaces that retain a trace of luster.
Square Base 2. Sharply struck with beautiful surfaces that are velvety smooth with rich greenish-gold luster. Remarkably clean with a glass needed to reveal a few microscopic marks. A coin that seems conservatively graded and has wonderful eye appeal. Very scarce with less than 100 known!
O-105. Square 2, Large Date, Knob 2. Well struck with a lustrous white core framed by delicate peripheral toning. Very nearly mint state as there is just a tiny touch of rub.
Large Date. Strong detail for the grade with choice surfaces and an even natural gray patina.
Large Date. Sharply struck with lustrous silver-gray surfaces and just a few very minor marks, well within the tolerance for the grade.
Solid detail with brilliant luster and a fair amount of ‘flash’. Light wear is evident on the high points of the design but the surfaces are relatively free of significant marks.
Sharply struck with choice original surfaces, bathed in a soft silver-gray patina with subtle golden undertones and cartwheel luster gently rolling beneath the fields. A very few minor marks are well within expectations for the grade and do not distract from this coin’s excellent overall eye appeal.
A pleasing example of this tough date with light coin-gray surfaces. Just 64,080 minted.
Browning 1. Well detailed with attractive coin-gray surfaces.
