1844-O Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS AU-58

Sharply struck with brilliant luster off slightly reflective surfaces. Just a touch of high-point rub keeps this scarce coin out of a mint state holder. 740,000 struck but just a handful have survived in high grade.

$1,575.00

1845 $2 1/2 Liberty PCGS MS-62

Well struck with flashy luster and rich orange-gold surfaces. 1845 is the most common quarter eagle in the 1840’s, but any early date is a prize in mint state.

$3,950.00

1845-D $5 Liberty NGC AU-55

Well detailed and lustrous with exceptionally nice surfaces for a Dahlonega Mint gold coin. The 90,629 mintage is the second highest for a D Mint ‘Five’, making this a great choice for type collectors.

$6,995.00

1846-D/D $2 1/2 Liberty – NGC AU-58

Very attractive with bright lustrous surfaces and sharp detail with almost no sign of ‘rub’. This is an interesting overdate as remnants of the initial D are far to the left of the primary D. Judging by PCGS and NGC population reports, the D/D is nearly ten times rarer than the regular 1846-D yet brings […]

$11,995.00

1847 Seated Liberty Dollar NGC MS-61+

Sharply struck with bold design elements including the stars and Liberty’s gown and head. The surfaces are a lustrous silver-white with minor scattered contact marks that are consistent with the grade.

$3,250.00

1847-C $5 Liberty – PCGS AU-55

The highest mintage for any Charlotte Mint half eagle at 84,151 coins. Still, most are VF to XF, and nice AU grade 1847-C’s are truly scarce. This is a very desirable example with choice yellow-gold surfaces that retain a fair amount of mint luster.

$7,295.00

1847-O Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS VF-20

A better early New Orleans Mint quarter with solid detail and pleasing surfaces.

$675.00

1848 $5 Liberty NGC MS-61

Flashy and very nice for the grade with bright luster and a sharp strike. A relatively high mintage of 260,775 but few have survived in high grade.

$2,750.00

1848 CAL $2 1/2 Liberty PCGS AU-58

This rarity is one of the most historically significant coins in American Numismatics. 1,389 pieces were struck from the first shipment of gold received from California after James Marshall discovered gold at Sutter’s Mill on January 24, 1848. “CAL.” was counterstamped on the reverse to signify this fact. They are considered by many numismatists to […]
