This popular variety shows the underlying “6” beneath the final digit of the date. The coin is well struck with strong detail throughout, complemented by bright, frosty luster. Surfaces are excellent for the grade with just scattered marks, and overall eye appeal remains very pleasing.

Remnants of the underlying “6” are clearly visible beneath the final digit. This near-Gem example offers sharp strike detail with satiny white mint luster flowing across both sides. Light contact marks typical of the grade are present but do little to diminish the coin’s strong eye appeal.

Liberty’s portrait shows solid definition, while the reverse wreath and denomination remain bold and well detailed. A desirable example of this better date which saw a mintage of just 5,000 coins.

Surfaces are clean and well preserved for the grade, with excellent overall eye appeal. A scarce denomination in this lofty condition.
