10×6 Stars. The 1797 Draped Bust with Small Eagle reverse is among the most iconic coins struck by the fledgling U.S. Mint, with a mintage of just 7,776 coins. This example displays strong detail for the type, with bold definition in Liberty’s hair and the eagle’s wings. The even antique-gray toning and natural light wear […]
Solid detail with light silver-gray surfaces. Noticeable luster remains.
Even natural gray surfaces with solid detail and a pleasing overall appearance.
With a mintage of just 54,454 coins, the 1801 dollar is a challenging issue in any grade. This example stands out with strong detail for the grade, balanced toning, and an honest appearance free from distracting marks.
Handsome and well-preserved, displaying strong detail and pleasing overall balance for the XF45 grade. Liberty’s portrait is sharply outlined, with bold facial features and clear hair definition, particularly through the central curls and ribbon.  The reverse shows a well-defined Heraldic Eagle, with strong wing detail, a clear shield, and a fully legible E PLURIBUS UNUM […]
An appealing example of the scarce early-date Draped Bust dollar, displaying honest light wear and solid mid-grade character. The obverse shows Liberty with smooth, even wear across the portrait, while the stars and lettering remain bold and well defined. The reverse retains clear detail in the eagle, shield, and wreath, with all major design elements […]
CAC. Reverse of 1802. All 1802 half cents are overdates with the O clearly seen below the 2 of the date. They are also very scarce and truly rare when found in decent grades and problem-free. The vast majority of known coins are ‘rough’, to say the least. They are also unknown in mint state. […]
A lovely example of this very clear overdate. The underlying 1 sits boldly beneath the primary 2 in the date. The surfaces are choice and original. They’re a pleasing light coin-gray with some darker gray toning at the bottom of the obverse. The design features are bold and minimal marks are insignificant and well hidden.
