Broken 3. Sharp detail with exceptionally nice original surfaces that retain a trace of remnant mint luster.
Pleasing and well-preserved with smooth, original surfaces and light rub, consistent with the AU50 grade. Liberty’s portrait remains well defined and the reverse eagle is crisp. Sharp detail with choice original toned surfaces and considerable underlying mint luster. Liberty has a strong ‘double profile’.
A desirable overdate, showing clear remnants of the underlying 2 beneath the 3. This lovely example has smooth, evenly worn chocolate-brown surfaces with strong detail in Liberty’s hair and the reverse wreath. A solid mid-grade representative of this popular and scarce overdate variety.
