Light, honest wear confined to the high points, with strong remaining detail in Liberty’s hair and cap, and well-defined feathers on the reverse. Surfaces are smooth and original, free of significant distractions, with considerable underlying luster.

Rich dove-gray surfaces with traces of underlying luster still evident around the protected areas of the design. Sharply detailed for the XF45 grade, with strong definition throughout Liberty’s curls and the eagle’s feathers, while honest circulation preserves the coin’s natural, undisturbed appearance.

B-3. This scarce early overdate displays strong remaining detail and pleasing originality. Liberty’s hair curls and cap are well defined, while the reverse eagle retains sharp feather detail. The surfaces display an attractive, even gray patina with subtle darker accents in the protected areas.
