CAC. A desirable first-year ‘Walker’ with soft satiny luster and attractive original surfaces. Well struck for the issue, with strong detail through Liberty’s gown lines and the eagle’s feathering. CAC approved and highly appealing for the MS64 grade.

This note depicts the bust of George Washington center and a vignette, at the left, of Christopher Columbus in sight of land. Fully framed and well balanced margins with the exception of the lower, which is a little tight. Vibrant color and clearly worth the EPQ designation.

Premium white paper provides an excellent backdrop for strong black, green, and red inks.

A striking Gem example with crisp, original paper that exhibits strong embossing and vibrant color, with bold red Treasury seal and bright serial numbers. Washington’s portrait is sharply detailed, complemented by the dramatic allegorical vignette at left and the ornate reverse design. Well-centered with excellent eye appeal.

Well balanced margins surround vivid inks. The original paper is fresh and bright.
