Both sides are sharply struck and beautifully preserved, displaying brilliant silver-white surfaces with outstanding eye appeal. An unusually attractive example of America’s first commemorative half dollar, seldom encountered with this level of mirrored brilliance.

The satiny surfaces are exceptionally clean for the grade, with only the lightest minor tics separating this coin from an even finer designation.
