Series 1923 $1 Silver Certificates are a legendary piece of American currency, being the very last large size one dollar bill ever issued by the U.S. government. This is a quality example with exceptional margins and pack fresh color.
Famously nicknamed the “horse blanket” due to its massive physical size. The reverse shows a highly ornate, stylized engraving commonly refered to as the “cogwheel” design. This is the top note of the sheet, as identified by the alignment mark on the upper margin. A nice higher grade note with bright natural colors.
