This example retains strong detail throughout, with only light, even wear on the highest points of Liberty’s hair and the eagle’s breast. Original luster remains visible around the devices and within the protected areas, complementing the natural silver-gray patina.

One of the ‘keys’ to the series. 450,000 minted but just a fraction of those were actually put into circulation. This example is well struck and very nearly mint state. The surfaces are lustrous and mostly silver-white with a trace of gold toning at the rim.
