One of the ‘keys’ to the series with a mintage of 548,000. Moderate wear consistent with the grade and pleasing light gray surfaces that are problem-free.

Very nearly a full XF with strong detail and very attractive coin-gray surfaces. The 1921 and 1921-D have lower mintages, but 1921-S is a much scarcer coin in VF and higher grades.

Lovely for the grade, this note displays a very well centered border that surrounds excellent black, orange, blue, and red inks. The orange ink is unoxidized and stands out. Soiling is mild and even and much brightness remains on the solid paper.
