This issue had a mintage of 580,000 but true Mint State examples are notably scarce, with most pieces encountered today showing considerable circulation. A sharply struck example of this scarce early Seated Quarter, displaying well-defined obverse stars and a crisply detailed seated figure, with full drapery folds and clear definition in the head, shield, and hand. Well struck and lustrous with semi proof-like surfaces and a faint golden hue.

Well detailed with a well defined head, stars, and wreath. The surfaces are lustrous and mostly white with light toning mainly at the borders.
