Large 5c. Lustrous, satiny surfaces are pleasing and original with attractive toning. The obverse features a sharp strike with Liberty’s hair curls and cap detail fully rendered. The reverse eagle’s feathers and shield lines are crisp and bold.

The only half cent Hard Times Token and popular with half cent collectors as no Federal issue half cents were struck in 1837. This is an incredibly high quality example with glossy medium brown surfaces that have a reddish tint.
