From the first year of coinage at the Carson City Mint. Just 12,462 minted. This is a well detailed example that was apparently cleaned years ago but has now toned down to a natural looking silver-tan color.

Very scarce with a mintage of 17,000 and 85 total survivors estimated to exist, both raw and certified, according to PCGS. This is a pleasing example with sharp detail and bright lustrous surfaces. A very lofty grade for this issue as nothing has graded mint state at either NGC or PCGS.

A wholesome and evenly worn example with strong remaining detail throughout Liberty’s figure and the reverse eagle. The surfaces display a pleasing, original medium-gray patina with subtle darker accents in the protected areas, lending a natural, undisturbed appearance.

CAC. This exceptionally well-preserved nickel displays crisp definition throughout, with full shield lines, bold stars, and clear lettering on both sides. Surfaces are smooth and original, exhibiting bright, satiny mint luster with subtle silver-gray brilliance.
