Well detailed with russet toning on predominately silver-gray surfaces.

The combination of a small mintage and a low survival rate make this a semi-key date in the Seated Quarter series. A modest 28,000 were produced. This is a nice coin for the grade with solid detail and problem-free, even coin-gray surfaces.

This scarce and highly desirable variety shows bold doubling, particularly in IN GOD WE TRUST, where the separation of the letters can still be discerned. The coin displays honest, even wear with smooth chocolate-brown surfaces and clearly outlined major design elements.

Sharply struck and lustrous with choice surfaces that have a nice blend of mint red and soft olive-brown. Minimal marks and no spots!

Lustrous surfaces show excellent preservation for the grade, with only minor marks and smooth, original texture. The strike is crisp, and the color balance leans more toward red than brown, making it especially desirable among red-brown designations.

A well-struck near-Gem with sharp definition throughout Liberty’s portrait and the Roman numeral reverse. The surfaces display smooth, even nickel-gray coloration and luster remains vibrant beneath a light patina.
