Octagonal Indian Head. R-4. Well struck and very attractive with flashy surfaces.
CAC. Sharply struck with beautiful proof surfaces. Both sides are a rich copper-orange color and are free from any noteworthy marks and spots. Housed in an old green label holder.
Sharp detail with glossy brown surfaces with streaks of faded copper-orange.
CAC. Over 11 million first year 1865 dated coins were struck, but by 1872 the production had fallen to 862,000. This is an exceptionally nice coin for the grade that satiny brilliant luster and a sharp strike.
