This incredible blazing red Gem ranks among the finest known for the issue. Fully lustrous with vibrant, original red color on both obverse and reverse, this sharply struck coin features a razor-sharp portrait of Lincoln as well as bold wheat ears on the reverse. The surfaces are virtually pristine, with no distracting marks or spots.

Well preserved with a rich brilliant luster patina over unmarked satiny surfaces. The strike is sharp with full rounded split horizonal bands. Just 6 coins have graded numerically finer at PCGS.

Crisp white luster with just a hint of toning at the edge on the reverse.

Flashy white luster and nearly mark-free. Housed in an old green label holder and a coin that seems under-graded!

Well struck with no noteworthy marks. The surfaces are choice and very lustrous with an attractive* golden-green hue.

A ‘key’ early small size ace in ‘Gem’. Well centered with excellent inking and fresh white premium paper. Great eye appeal!
