CAC. Deeply mirrored fields contrast beautifully with frosted, well-defined devices, earning this piece its “Cameo” designation. The obverse features a sharply struck Liberty with full hair detail and crisp stars, while the reverse wreath and Roman numeral “V” are equally bold. One of the better survivors from a mintage of 4,290.
Sharply struck with satiny white luster except for a delicate gold ring at the very edge of this Superb Gem. The surfaces are nearly mark-free with Liberty’s cheek being particularly clean.
