Well balanced and broad borders surround rich black, red, blue, and green inks. The paper is as fresh as when it left the printing press. A high quality example, PMG lists only 2 graded finer, both ’67’.

Octagonal Indian Head. R-3. Well struck with nice flashy surfaces.

A needle-sharp strike with every minute detail boldly present. The surfaces are a soft brown with considerable underlying red. Very nice for the grade with no marks or carbon.

CAC. A fabulous example of this scarce low mintage date. Just 21,000 minted. This example has wonderful mark-free surfaces and a sharp strike with a rich coat of satiny mint luster.
