Original mint red luster and sharply struck. Liberty’s headdress is well defined with all 4 diamonds bold and the reverse shield and wreath are bold and unblemished.

This scarce Gold Commemorative was minted in 1904 and 1905, with this 1905 version being slightly better. The present example is sharply struck with bright lustrous semi proof-like surfaces.
